Meeting with George and Set designs

George (who is the lighting man who comes in to help with our  videos) came in to discuss what we wanted for our video. Thank fully we had already sketched what we would like. 

 

Lighting wise all we really needed was spotlights for the coloured back grounds and also coloured tube lights for the performance element. As soon as we mentioned to George the neon tubing in the performance he spotted that all the elements would not fit together and would look extremely out of place- which we agreed with but couldn't work out how to fix it. He came up with the idea that we would use the neon tubes as well in all 4 coloured backgrounds when the girls are dancing- so the background would be made up with lines of coloured tubing! personally I wasn't to keen on the idea because we had already made a props list

 

for the dancers and this would tie in with the fun and flirtyness of our video but now if it was going to be neon we would need to re think a few things, but as George is a professional we took his advice and started thinking more about this idea!
