no.2

Last Thursday we had a camera tutorial in the film studio with.....

In this lesson we learnt many skills which will be extremely crucial when in comes to filming the thiller task.

Here is a list of the many key things we learnt in this introduction....

  • We learnt how to set up the tripods accurately and how to carefully connect the camera on top of it; how to hold it correctly and make sure it is securely on.

  • We then learnt how to bubble the camera with includes getting a small air bubble into a circle on the camera to make sure the camera is completely straight on the tripod for filming purposes.

  • Then we learnt about focussing and zooming and also the exposure rings on the lens. These rings our extremely important as it is howyou adjust the camera manually to your surroundings instead of having the camera try to do it automatically and ending up with a pretty rubbish confused result.

  • We also learnt about white balancing. This is how you get your cameras image the same lighting and image as you see infront of you.
