This week we finally started brainstorming ideas for our thrillers. Phil (our teacher) worked extremely hard to find us the best and most thrilling news stories throughout the year which are shown
below. We then picked one story to work on as a class you use as an example to work on. We picked the news story of 'the one way mission to mars meets reality TV'. We used the sub-genres of psychological, horror, supernatural, crime and actions. We then all had to come up with one idea for each as a class. There were many ideas put forward and it gave us a chance to realise what would work and what wouldn't and gave Phil a chance to talk about what we should and shouldn't do.
