EVALUATION 4: PART 2 Who would be the audience for your media product?

I looked at films  within the same thriller subgenre as mine. I looked at the audience rating statistics to see which segment has given the highest average rating score to get an idea of my target audience.

 

 

From first glance this film is clearly liked widely. Though I can see the main audience for this kind off film was males under 18. This I think is pretty obvious- that 18 year olds would be the audience for action thrillers as it always has conventions that would appeal to them.

From this we can gather that our target audience would most likely be males under 18- we should try and appeal to all audiences; but most likely we will be reaching out to 19 year old males.
